Let's talk for a few minutes about the different types of psychic readings available. Are you finally ready to take the plunge and get your first reading or psychic appointment? Are you just stuck with which psychic to choose? With so many different types of ads, offers and web sites out there in the wild.....I really don't blame you!
Psychic Mediums: How to find the right one
So what are the sorts of things you should look at in a psychic medium BEFORE you pick up the phone?
Here is the first thing you need to take into consideration. Worry about yourself first! As a matter of fact, your OWN needs are far more important when selecting a psychic than any other factor at all. Such as, if you want to connect with someone who has departed from his life a psychic medium is what you're going to need. If you may be trying to locate an old friend, you want a clairvoyant, and NOT a medium.
Again, this is what you need to take into consideration:
Realize that your specific goals will determine the type of psychic that you need. Keeping this in mind will point you in the right direction and help you find the right psychic.
The test?
The reading is over--now how you feel about that session? What have you learned? Are you now able to put this information to use? Now, when you feel the need for another psychic reading, you have found a psychic you can trust to help you with your problem.
When you get your reading, don't ask the same surface questions that don't really get you anywhere, such as: Does he / she really love me? Is he or she unfaithful? When will I meet my soulmate? Will I meet a partner? Try to find ways to improve the quality of how you are living your life. Inquire spiritually-based queries along the lines of: How could I promote love throughout our own romantic relationship? How do I find the inner view of true pure intuition to keep yourself informed of a scenario which might cause me damage? Don't be affected because of other people and the modern society presumptions but evolve your own inner spiritual compass.

Free Clairvoyants And Their Practices
Almost everyone who is working is in the mindset that they need to sell their services. Some people will choose to give them away from time to time to prove how valuable their services are. Free clairvoyants can be like that. They want to prove that they will not waste your time or money if you choose to hire them. Of course, as with most other professions, you need to look out for charlatans who are not who they claim to be. If you are lucky enough to find someone who truly is clairvoyant and is willing to do a reading for no fee, then you should attempt to get in on it before they start charging again.
The term clairvoyant comes from the French for clear vision. It was a term coined in the seventeenth century that is still in use today. It refers to someone that can see the truth, or at least a version of it. It may mean an ability to see into the future, or it can mean an ability to see the truth in what is currently happening.
Note that not everyone who does make a claim to this power has it. You may wonder why someone would claim to have a power that they do not have. The problem is that like many other professions, doing readings is profitable and people will attempt to pretend to have a gift in order to free you of your money. Before going in for a reading, make sure that you know who you are dealing with.
Different types of the power have been reported. One of the common types is something called remote viewing. This is when one person will claim to be able to see what is going on in a different area. This has been associated with the military, who are rumored to have tried experiments with remote viewing. They claim that it hasn't worked for military application, although it is possible that history will show a different view.
Some clairvoyants claim to have a form of mediumship. Mediumship is a form of communication with the dead. Mediums attempt to contact the dead through a variety of means. The classic example is a seance, in which a group of people will gather in a room with a medium and attempt to contact a ghost.
The idea of contacting a loved one is very tempting. It can be a challenge for any living person to communicate with another realm of existence. Many people believe that it is possible, although there have been few cases that could prove that it was one way or another to a large enough percentage of non-believers.
There are many schools that claim to teach people how to harness their psychic powers. The results of these schools are often limited, and skepticism by outside parties plays a part in how serious the schools are treated. As a result, there is no standard test or proof that the clairvoyant you are going to go and see is able to actually able to make accurate predictions.
It is hard to find a test to prove the validity of the results you get from free clairvoyants, so if you do choose to go in for a consultation, you will need to trust your instinct and listen carefully to what they say for anything that seems out of place or incorrect.

2012 Planet Alignment - Is It Real?
As the year 2012 approaches, the media will surely blow the trumpets of distress. I remember the trumpets blaring with the coming of the year 2000, the turn of the century into a new millennium. Do you recollect the Y2K frenzy?
The potential for a complete breakdown of civilization hung on our ability to reprogram all the computers of the world to accept four simple digits – 2000. Well, we did it. Is this new hazard of the same kind? Can we deal with it? Is 2012 any unique?
As you can guess this is rather different. Special because it is of no human man-made substance or abstract data. It is the product of prophecy and of understanding. It is different because it threatens not only our way of life, but also life itself. That is, if all the doom and despair portrayed in the media is true. Actually, did you know the Mayan calendar did not predict the end of the world but rather a transition into a new world!
If it is the upcoming of new awareness, then it may only endanger our style of life, our daily comings and goings, our relationships with our families and neighbors. It may jeopardize our political behavior and our international behavior. I say endanger because a new awareness implies a new way of thinking, an ascension of sorts. It implies modification from the way we are now. Change is always a threat to the public.
If it is armageddon that we confront, then surely it threatens life itself. Those that see this future event as ruinous, see it as a worldwide event. They see it as an event that will unnerve the world, one that will distress all of humanity. That is without doubt change. Could it be an event of extermination, one that wipes out humanity? Some find such a prophecy to be an insult to the Divine. Nevertheless, believers of various faiths and non-believers, as well, hold that somber belief in Armageddon.
The specific date that is the focus of this prophecy is December 21, 2012, the winter solstice. That year will be a leap year . In the United States, it is a presidential election year. There will be a summer Olympics in London. In that year, American military presence in the Republic of Korea will end. On December 21, 2012 the planet Earth will be in galactic alignment with our Universe. Scientists believe something will transpire, but what? Gravitational forces and maybe some other mysterious forces will be at play during this time. What effect it will have on us is unknown.
The Pleiadians channeled through Barbara Marciniak, many years ago, that we would be entering a "photon belt" during this occasion. Nasa confirms that we have entered a radiation belt over the last few years. Unbelieveably, the Pleiadians also say that an Earth ascension occurs where our planet is transported in time and space to a new location in the Universe. One in which we have two suns. The Hopis also have the prophecy of a world with two suns, interesting?
Before we dismiss these prophecies of a new consciousness or total destruction, we should take note that there are notable and respected scientists that are doing serious research and study of the Mayan prophecies. Some scientists note that it is in the year 2012 that the Sun will release intense solar activity that could have disastrous cost for the earth. Could it be that both a new consciousness and disastrous consequence will be the legacy of 2012?
Shouldn't we find out what we can and prepare for the possibilities? Isn't it better to be safe than sorry?
Last but not least, are you familiar with "The Law of Attraction"? Maybe it is time for mankind to awaken and understand that we create our own reality. So isn't it time we create paradise as a human species using our collective consciousness? We have the influence. Maybe 2012 helps jump start the process!

Is Death Something To Fear?
Death is not something that many people want to think about. However, death is a part of living a human life. At least, our current level of science and technology acknowledges that death is inevitable.
Is death something to be afraid of or is death something to look forward to? The answer may depend on who you talk to. Certainly, it could appear to be more frightening to the uninitiated than trying to figure out how to get rid of gingivitis. But on the other hand, losing teeth can be a frightening proposition to people as well!
Aside from the obvious religious answers, what body of information exists that can help us to approach this question with some degree of logical thinking? When exacting scientific evidence is lacking, our only option is to consider the anecdotal or subjective experiences that others have had.
Fortunately, there is a body of information that leads to the formation of some interesting thoughts on the subject of death and what it is or what it might lead to. You can find this resource at near-death.com. But be forewarned, the stories on this site are a bit less light-hearted than at home teeth whitening treatments.
Each person is encouraged to draw their own conclusions. Yet, I would like to share some of my thoughts and opinions on the matter.
Many people who have a near-death experience have strikingly similar experiences. There are some who report a horrible experience but the majority report more positive experiences. It is certainly going to be more interesting to study than perhaps a mundane read of marijuana addiction facts. Each person has a
Some may have gone to a terrible place, while others seem to leave the pain of the mortal body behind and experience an interesting journey before they revive. Both kinds of experiences have been recorded.
One striking similarity is the 'life review' process. This has been reported as a review of one's entire life where each event is played out before your eyes. People that have experienced this process say that you suddenly become aware of how you affected the people you interacted with during your life.
If you did something that caused them pain, you may become cognizant of those feelings as if you were experiencing them yourself. People report that they feel regretful. The experience doesn't just extend to that one person, but the effects are like a ripple in a pond and you see how that ripple affects multiple people.
On the other hand, if you did something good you experience that as well. It does appear that the good things involve acting from compassion. For example, one lady said the most significant act of her entire life occurred when she was a little girl. She cupped a flower in her hand and gave it 'unconditional love'.
Others don't experience an in depth life review, theirs lasts a few seconds and doesn't seem to have much impact. Experiences vary someowhat. However, the fundamental similarities remain.
Can a person change as a result of a near-death experience? I was struck by the example of one person who
was a self described atheist and hateful person. After his near-death experience he became a minister and a kinder, gentler soul. The change was not only noted by himself, but also by his family members.
Wouldn't it be fascinating to actually talk to a person who has had a near-death experience? I remember listening to a gentleman named Dannion Brinkley talk about his NDEs (near death experiences). He actually had more than one in his life due to an unfortunate propensity to attract lightning.
I found his insights to be very interesting.
If you want to read more about NDEs, visit near-death.com Although it is hard to classify the information there as anything more than subjective, there is a large body of recorded experiences there. Perhaps it will provide you with more insight as to whether death should be feared or not.

Get To Know Mars, the Red Planet
Continuously some evenings, you might notice a intense light in the heavens, one that resembles like a star with a reddish glimmer. For a matter of fact, that is your Mars, one called subsequent to the Roman god of war - Mars. This planet would be the fourth from the sun, at about 228 million kilometers away. With your Meade lx200gps you may investigate this planet up close and personal.
If you can foresee an image of the planet, you will assume that parts of it looked similar to the celestial body. Not like the tranquility moon, the sub stratosphere of Mars is made up of quite a few gases, that are mostly carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and argon, appearing like skinny blue and white clouds moving across its atmosphere. Amid fierce windstorms, the sand twirls up from the plains, filling the air with granules. This orange-colored dust that saturates its skies is what you watch from a distance.
The range of Mars is only about half the size of Earth. Therefor is simply visible with the Meade LX 200 Telescope. As this is so, a year on top of Mars is nearly half the year on our planet, while this day is almost the same as ours. This slope of the planet's axis is similar to our globe, which makes the 4 seasons at hand comparable to ours. Nevertheless, due to its area, the seasons go on almost twice as long. At hand are also enormous fluctuations in conditions between the day and night.
Volcanoes are also widespread on Mars, nevertheless compared to the ones on Earth, these volcanoes are greatly taller and reach out much wider than our Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth. The size difference happens because on Mars, there is a lack in tectonic plates. Furthermore this allows the volcano movement to continue longer on the same spot, letting the volcano extra time to mature. Also, the surface gravity on the globe is barely one third of Earth's, so the progress is not dragged down to the middle of gravity just as much.
A distinct canyon from this planet is as wide as the entire continent of North America. It is believed to be generated by fatal outbursts of water, ice, and debris from underground. There are also long, zigzag marks that seem like dry river valleys, believed to be caused by rainfall long ago once the condition was hot enough for water to survive.

Look To Your Past Lives To Learn Your Future
If we look closely at world religions, we see that many speak about life being a cycle. We go around and around, treading similar ground. There is comfort in the knowledge that not only will we be here again but that we have been here in the past. It just makes sense, which might explain why most people on the planet believe in reincarnation. Maybe you believe in past lives or maybe you have doubts. Either way, it is worth looking into and there are some easy tools you can use.
There are people who can help you if you are not immediately drawn to conclusions from all this writing. Trained past-life regression therapists are certified to help you experience past lives and then help you interpret what they mean for you in the present. Two groups, the International Association for Regression and Research Therapies or the International Association of Past Life Therapists offer certification for these professionals so that you can rest assured they know what they are doing. They also have listings of their members so you can find one close to where you live, or even online.
Take a close look at yourself. Start keeping a journal if you don't have one already. Write down everything that happens to you, even if it does not seem important at the time. Events might come up again later and gain more significance through repetition. Strong emotions are one thing to look for when you are reading your entries. They may suggest a link to the past or, when put together, create a clear picture of a past life.
If you want answers, like most of us do, you will be surprised to learn that a simple thing like a list of your likes and dislikes can help reveal the dues you carry. You can put anything important to you on the list, like feelings about your parents, your car, the town you live in, the neighbors cat. Think about yourself, your own personal talents and quirks. Do you laugh loudly? Are you an excellent dancer? Were you popular or unpopular? Do you even care about popularity? All these details can give us clues as to what dues we carry.
There are also your dreams. They have long been held to be significant as harbingers of the future, but they are also offer an excellent view of the past. It is all in how you look at them. Write them down in as much detail as you can remember. They contain powerful symbols. The meanings of these symbols can be pulled out over time so long as we write them all down.
We can help our dreams speak more clearly through the power of positive suggestion. By reminding ourselves, just before we go to sleep, that tonight we are going to explore our past lives in our dreams, we cue the subconscious to get busy. Then, while we dream, the fruits of that unconscious labor appear before our wondering eyes, ripe for the plucking. As in all things, practice makes perfect. Keep reminding yourself and then writing down your dreams and soon you will hold the key that will unlock the door to your past, present and future.
Meditation is like positive suggestion, only you are still awake. It takes a certain amount of discipline and self-reliance to practice deep meditation, but there is a simpler method for those of us whose schedules do not allow for hours of relaxed thought.
You can meditate during the day, while you are going about your chores. Maybe you are stuck in a traffic jam, or on the subway, or waiting for an appointment. Take a moment and remind yourself that you are trying to learn more about your own past and the many lives you have led. Your subconscious is very open to suggestion. Just keep reminding it (and yourself) that it is time to pay attention to the details. And then write those details down.
People who try regression usually find the experience helpful, whatever their original belief about reincarnation. So go ahead and try it! You might be surprised.

Want To Know About The Secret Of Creating Abundance Wealth And Money
There has been a great deal of attention lately regarding the law of attraction and how to create abundance. These topics have been brought into the light through movies and books as well as nationally aired talk shows on TV. Millions have been made aware of what religion and philosophy has been saying since time immemorial -- you create your own reality. For many, creating one's own reality means finding out how to cause abundance wealth and money to come into your life.
A Universal law states that like attracts like. Here's how you can demonstrate that axiom. Take a guitar that has been properly tuned and hold a vibrating tuning for in the pitch of A-440 next to the strings. You'll notice that the A-string on the guitar will immediately start to vibrate also, even though it hasn't been touched. But, in fact, it HAS been touched, invisibly.
You can also demonstrate the same phenomenon with two tuning forks of the same pitch. Simply strike one and hold it close to the other and you'll find that the second fork will start to vibrate too, seemingly of its own volition. This is an example of sympathetic vibration. Like attracts like.
The Universe is in a constant state of vibration. Everything is moving, whether it's a rock, a tree, a sound or a light-wave. Nothing is static. Everything is in constant motion. This also includes invisible things, like thoughts and ideas.
You can achieve sympathy with any vibration by tuning into it, much like a radio or TV set tunes into a certain vibration, or wavelength, to create sounds and pictures. You create the sounds and pictures in your life by the wavelengths or vibrations to which you tune your mind. If you don't like the pictures you're seeing in your environment you can actually change the channel and thereby change the pictures.
Tens of thousands of people across the world have found success in applying the truths promulgated in the various books and programs concerning the law of attraction and how to create abundance in one's life. One particular book, later made into a movie, which significantly changed the landscape of how people regard this subject is called 'The Secret'. Unfortunately, however, many millions who have tried to use the methods described in these programs of self-development have been unfulfilled, disappointed at their failure and given up. If the law of attraction works, as it seems to have worked for so many, why doesn't it work for everyone? Good question.
The answer is this. There is a secret to the secret and success depends on knowing this. Manifesting abundance into your life requires strong desire and determination, yes, but there's more. It has to do with the subconscious mind, which is responsible for making the vibrational connection.
It's easy enough to direct the subconscious to do what you want, but first it must be reprogrammed in certain ways. This is not difficult, especially with the new technology available to aid in this task. Once you've done this, and your subconscious mind says it's okay, you will be able to create all the abundance wealth and money you desire and deserve.
